Chennai MMA: ask about grappling, not just MMA
Chennai MMA's website lists jiu-jitsu/submission grappling alongside other combat sports. It provides branch contacts for Anna Nagar, Nungambakkam, K K Nagar, Adyar and OMR Sholinganallur, plus a central number, +91 99621 12666.
Ask whether you can join a specific grappling class or open mat as a visitor. If the answer is an MMA session, clarify whether it includes strikes or cage work. Someone looking for ordinary no-gi BJJ rounds shouldn't have to discover a different format after arriving.

Ask for these details in one reply
When a session isn't publicly documented, a vague “come over” leaves too much unresolved. Send the host enough information to place you appropriately:
Hi, I train [gi/no-gi] at [academy] and have [experience]. I'm looking to train in Chennai on [date]. Do you have an open mat accepting outside guests? If not, can I attend a suitable grappling class? Please confirm the branch, time, total fee, kit, booking requirements and whether the session includes striking.
If the reply offers a taught class instead, that may solve your actual problem: getting some training during your visit. You don't need to insist on the words “open mat” if the class provides the format and appropriate partners you want.
