Editorial standards

Readers should be able to tell where a claim comes from, what a reviewer actually knows, and what still needs checking.

Research and practical guidance

Training guides distinguish published findings from scheduling suggestions and sample workouts. We prefer original research, systematic reviews and relevant professional consensus statements, and link the source beside the claim.

The MMA and weightlifting guide includes a selected bibliography with authors, publication years, evidence types and limitations. Its sources-check date records checking of those references, not a comprehensive literature search or a claim that every cited paper is the newest on its topic.

Authors and reviewers

Bylines identify the author. A reviewer credit names the person and describes the scope of their review. Practical training experience, coaching qualifications and clinical expertise are different kinds of experience; one does not automatically establish the others.

Aayush Bhaskar provides practical review of the MMA and weightlifting guide. His profile describes the background he supplied. We attach that credit to the guide he reviewed, rather than extending it to every page on the site.

Examples and training tools

Sample schedules, exercise sessions and worksheets help readers organize training. They are illustrative resources, not tested clinical protocols, diagnoses or guarantees of performance. We do not present an illustration as a photograph of an athlete, or an invented outcome as a case study.

Venue evidence

Gym pages separate publicly documented information, gym confirmation and information that remains unconfirmed. A public source is not an independent inspection. Each status applies to the evidence recorded for that detail; readers should contact a venue for current fees, class intensity and availability.

A trial enquiry is a request, not a confirmed booking. See About Roundhouse for how our directory works.

Corrections and updates

Send the page URL, the disputed claim and supporting evidence through our Contact page. Corrections are free. We assess the claim against the supplied evidence and correct or qualify it when needed.

Substantive guide revisions include an update note describing the change. A sources-check date is kept separate from a review credit. Dates are changed to record actual work, not to make unchanged guidance appear newly written.

Commercial transparency

There are no affiliate links in our gym or pool reporting. If a page uses affiliate links or sponsored placement, that relationship must be disclosed on that page. Paid placement does not establish a venue's quality or confirm its information.
