Why Roundhouse

Find the right place to train.

The nearest gym is easy to find. The right one takes a few more questions. Does it teach what you want to learn? Will the class work for a beginner? Can you make the timetable, and what will it cost? Roundhouse helps you ask those questions before you turn up.

The gym and pool listings are researched from each venue's own website and public pages, not recycled listicles. Each gym page says when it was last checked and links its sources, and anything we could not confirm is marked as such. There are no affiliate links on the gym or pool reporting.

Publicly documented means a readable public source and its check date are recorded; it does not mean independently verified. Gym confirmed means the gym confirmed the listing, with a recorded date and method. Not confirmed means evidence is missing. A listing status does not confirm every detail; check the sources for each section. Contact the gym for current fees, schedules and availability.

Training guidance and practical review

Our MMA and weightlifting guide is written under the Roundhouse editorial byline and practically reviewed by Aayush Bhaskar, an MMA and strength-training practitioner with fight experience and a focus on anti-ageing and performance optimisation. He balances training with actively managing a business. The guide names its research sources and distinguishes their findings from the sample programme.
