For swimming in Delhi NCR without a long membership, start with a hotel day pass or a pool that sells individual sessions. DDA guest access is another route if you know a member. A DDA temporary membership is a separate option for repeat visits, but it is still a membership and has its own upfront cost.
You want one swim. The website wants you to join for three months.
That is the problem this guide tackles: how to get into a pool without buying a long plan, what the published prices actually cover, and which questions to ask before travelling.
The examples below cover Delhi and Noida. They are leads to check, not a list of pools with confirmed tickets available today. We have not established comparable day-pass options in Gurugram, Faridabad or Ghaziabad for this article.

Your four routes, at a glance
| Route | Who should investigate it | Price example and its status | What to check first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel day pass | Someone planning a one-off swim or pool day | Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar: ₹1,500 plus taxes, reported by LBB, not a current hotel quote | Whether non-resident passes are sold for your date |
| Individual pool session | Someone who wants to pay per visit | Noida Diary reports ₹200 per day at Ishita and ₹400 per hour at Indrayu Jeta | Current price, exact venue and bookable slot |
| DDA member's guest | Someone who knows a member | Siri Fort's published summer guest swimming charge: ₹247.80 for 45 minutes | Guest eligibility, accompaniment and any separate entry charge |
| DDA temporary membership | Someone comparing repeat-swim options | Membership and swimming charges are separate; examples below | Approval, full joining cost and the pool's remaining season |
The last two are alternatives to a long membership, not unrestricted public walk-ins.
DDA pools: complex entry is not the same as pool entry
DDA's sports FAQ describes casual day access to its complexes. Do not assume that buying complex entry also buys a swim. Pool admission has its own categories and charges.
The Siri Fort complex listing publishes a summer member swimming charge of ₹82.60 for 45 minutes, alongside a ₹247.80 guest charge. Neither figure is a general-public joining price.
Ask reception this exact question:
I am not a member. Can I buy a swimming session for [date and time]? If not, can I come as a member's guest, and does that member need to accompany me?
Get the pool-specific answer. A general “pay and play available” answer leaves the important part unresolved.
What about temporary membership?
Siri Fort's listing links a three-month temporary membership application and a separate swimming form. Its published single-person Indian-citizen temporary membership charge is ₹5,570. Ask how the swimming fees apply in addition.
Other complexes have different joining charges. For example, Paschim Vihar Sports Complex lists ₹3,040 for a three-month temporary membership for one person. Its swimming table separately lists a temporary-member daily dip at ₹82.60 and a quarterly swimming pass at ₹4,094.60.
Those are distinct tariff lines. Have reception confirm which combination you need, the total payable and whether applications are currently accepted. The same Paschim Vihar page says a medical fitness certificate is compulsory for swimming users.
This changes the comparison considerably. A low daily swim charge can look attractive while leaving out the money you must pay to become eligible for it.
Compare the total, not the headline dip price
Use this calculation with an actual quote:
Cost per visit = joining costs plus swimming charges plus travel, divided by the visits you realistically expect to make.
Here is a purely illustrative example, not a venue offer. If joining costs ₹3,000 and each swim costs ₹100, six visits cost ₹3,600 before travel, or ₹600 each. Twenty visits cost ₹5,000, or ₹250 each.
Check the remaining season before paying a joining fee. A three-month pass has limited use if the swimming sessions you need stop much sooner.
Hotel day passes: ask for non-resident access
A hotel showing a pool on its website does not mean anyone can buy a ticket.
Suzanne Wanders Delhi's visitor guide reports day-pass access at Hyatt Regency Delhi, Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar and The Suryaa. Treat these as places to ask, rather than confirmed offers for your date.
For one price lead, LBB reports ₹1,500 plus taxes for a one-person day pass at Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar. The article does not establish that this price is still available. Ask the hotel for a fresh, tax-inclusive quote through its official contact page.
For the other two, start with Hyatt's Club Olympus page or The Suryaa's wellness page. These confirm pool facilities, but do not establish a current non-resident day-pass price.
Before paying, ask:
- Is this a pool-only pass, or does it include food, towels or other facilities?
- What is the final price after taxes and any mandatory charges?
- Does the pass cover a timed session or several hours?
- Are children admitted, and what supervision is required?
- Can I swim lengths, or is the pool mainly being used for leisure?
- What happens if the pool closes or the booking is cancelled?
For one afternoon, a confirmed hotel pass may be convenient. For regular training, compare the full cost with a local session-based pool. The right choice depends on the access you can actually get.
Noida pay-per-swim options: useful leads, reported prices
Noida Diary's guide, updated 23 May 2026, reports these options:
| Pool | Third-party reported price | Detail to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Ishita Swimming Academy, Sector 11 | ₹200 per person for a daily pass | Available days, session length and current booking method |
| Indrayu Jeta Sports, Sector 50 | ₹400 per hour | The guide reports swimming between 3 PM and 7 PM; check your exact slot |
| Indian Aquatic Academy, Sector 24 | ₹300 per hour | Drop-in days are unclear: the source mentions Sunday admission in one section but also lists Sunday closure |
These are not prices confirmed with the academies. We have not checked live booking inventory or inspected the venues.
The contradiction for Indian Aquatic Academy matters. Do not plan a Sunday visit until the operator confirms it. Likewise, a listed afternoon window does not establish that a pool is open in October or through winter.
Use Roundhouse's pool directory to find additional venue information and source links. If a pool has several branches, confirm the address before paying. An offer at one school campus does not establish access at another.
What to carry
Ask the venue for its admission checklist when you book. A useful starting list is:
- Swimwear accepted by the pool and a swim cap.
- Goggles, a towel and suitable poolside footwear.
- Photo ID if the operator requires it.
- The booking confirmation and payment receipt.
- A medical fitness certificate where required.
- Application photos and address documents if you are joining temporarily.
Do not assume a hotel supplies towels or that a school pool has a locker you can secure. Ask about both. Shower before entering and follow the venue's posted swimming rules.
If you need lessons, say that when enquiring. Buying a practice session does not automatically include coaching or make an unfamiliar depth suitable for you.
Check winter opening separately
A winter tariff is not proof that you can swim there in January. Neither is a roof.
The Siri Fort page on the DDA Sports portal contains winter swimming prices, but it also labels sections as Qutab Golf Course. Because of that mismatch, we have not used its winter figures as a confirmed Siri Fort quote.
A hotel's own season timetable is more useful than a general directory description, but admission still needs checking. For example, The Suryaa publishes separate summer and winter pool hours. That alone does not promise non-resident entry.
Ask: Is this exact pool open on my date, is the water heated, and is the session I want available to non-members?
If you are choosing somewhere for regular lengths, use our Delhi NCR lap-pool guide to check lane access, pool length and your actual training slot.
Send this before you travel
Copy this message and fill in the brackets:
Hi, I would like to swim at [pool and branch] on [date] at [time]. I am not a member or hotel guest. Can I book one session? Please confirm the total price including taxes and entry charges, session length, documents and equipment required, and whether independent lap swimming is available. Is the pool operating that day, and is it heated?
Keep the written answer. If you enquire by phone, note when you called and ask whether you need a reservation.
Pick the nearest two or three realistic options, get the full quotes, then decide. There is little value in finding a cheap ticket if the pool will not admit you when you arrive.

Frequently asked questions
Can I swim in Delhi NCR without a membership?
Hotel day passes and individual pool sessions are routes to investigate. DDA guest access may also be available under member-guest rules. Confirm the exact venue and date; none of these routes guarantees a walk-in ticket.
Is the DDA daily dip price available to everyone?
No. Published swimming tariffs distinguish members, guests and sometimes temporary members. A member daily-dip charge should not be presented as a general-public admission price.
Is a DDA temporary membership the cheapest option?
Not necessarily. Compare the joining fee, separate swimming charges, travel and the visits you will use before the season ends. Temporary membership is still a membership, even if it avoids a long commitment.
What does a hotel pool day pass cost?
LBB reports ₹1,500 plus taxes at Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar. It is a third-party price lead, not a current hotel quote or a price for all Delhi hotels. Ask the hotel for its full price and availability.
Are there pay-per-swim pools in Noida?
Noida Diary reports daily or hourly access at Ishita Swimming Academy, Indrayu Jeta Sports and Indian Aquatic Academy. Prices and admission days need operator confirmation; its Indian Aquatic Academy Sunday information conflicts.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Requirements depend on the venue. DDA's Paschim Vihar page explicitly says a medical fitness certificate is compulsory for swimming users. Ask your chosen complex or private pool what it accepts before visiting.
How long is a swimming session?
Siri Fort's published summer swimming entries specify 45 minutes. Other pools may sell hourly sessions or longer day passes. Confirm water time as well as changing and entry arrangements.
Are these pools open in winter?
This guide does not confirm current winter admission at the listed venues. Check the pool's operating dates, heating and non-member policy directly. Published fees or general complex hours do not prove an available swimming slot.
