Swimming at a DDA pool usually involves two separate payments: a DDA sports complex membership (permanent or 3-month temporary) at that complex, and a swimming pass on top of it. At most DDA complexes, the swimming pass for members is listed at ₹82.60 a dip or ₹1,392.40 a month, including GST, on DDA's pages checked on 4 November 2026. Most DDA pools are open only from 1 April to 30 September, so in November most are out of season. DDA's heated-pool season ends on 30 November.

This guide puts DDA's published numbers in one place. Each fee comes with the DDA page it comes from. Where DDA's pages disagree with each other, or say nothing, we say so instead of guessing. The newer Dwarka Sports Complex, Sector 17 has its own DDA page, which describes a "tensile membrane covered 50 mtr swimming pool". It is not on the list of 17. It also uses a different membership system, covered below. Roundhouse page: Dwarka Sector 17.

Membership and swimming are charged separately

DDA's sports FAQ explains that membership "only provides playing rights at the complexes". The swimming charges are separate. On most complex pages we checked, the swimming table is split into members and temporary members. Siri Fort's is split into members and guests. Each Roundhouse pool page repeats a note on this.

What DDA charges for membership (Saket example)

Membership rates are set complex by complex. Here are the rates Saket Sports Complex publishes, including 18% GST, as shown on 4 November 2026:

CategoryEntry fee (one-time, non-refundable)Monthly subscription (member)Monthly subscription (dependant)
Government service₹15,190₹330₹170
Other non-service (private)₹30,370₹330₹170
Senior citizen₹6,070₹200₹170 below 60; ₹90 above 60
Temporary membership, Indian citizen (3 months)₹3,040Not listedNot listed
Casual membership, Indian citizen₹100 per dayNot listedNot listed

The same headline figures appear on the Netaji Subhash (Jasola), Vasant Kunj, Rashtriya Swabhiman Khel Parisar, Rohini, Poorv Delhi Khel Parisar, Chilla and Major Dhyan Chand pages: ₹30,370 private, ₹6,070 senior citizen, ₹3,040 temporary and ₹100 casual. Some pages show only some categories. Yamuna lists the same ₹30,370 individual fee. The Dwarka Sector 11 page uses a different table. It says its entry fees "are exclusive of GST as applicable". It lists an individual Indian-citizen entry fee of ₹68,635.59, a 3-month temporary membership of ₹2,576.27 and casual membership of ₹84.75, all plus GST. Its swimming charges, by contrast, are stated including GST.

DDA's 2023 sports FAQ lists casual (day) membership at ₹90 at most complexes and ₹100 at Siri Fort. The Saket page, checked on 4 November 2026, lists ₹100 a day for Indian citizens. The FAQ is older, so go by the complex page.

What DDA charges to swim

On the Saket, Vasant Kunj, Netaji Subhash, Rohini, Rashtriya Swabhiman Khel Parisar, Major Dhyan Chand, Chilla, Yamuna, Poorv Delhi Khel Parisar and CWG Village pages, the summer swimming charges are the same (including 18% GST):

PassMembersTemporary members
Daily dip₹82.60₹82.60
Monthly₹1,392.40₹1,368.80
Bi-monthly (2 months)Not listed₹2,725.80
QuarterlyNot listed₹4,094.60
Seasonal₹4,908.80Not listed
Guest of member (per day)₹247.80Not listed
Swimming coaching₹1,475₹1,475

Some pages show only part of this table. Dwarka Sector 11, for example, shows the full member table but only a quarterly rate (₹4,094.60) for temporary members. Netaji Subhash's temporary-member rows have no daily dip. Poorv Delhi Khel Parisar rounds the same amounts to the rupee (₹83, ₹1,392 and so on). The pages do not always say what period the ₹1,475 coaching fee covers. Chilla's coaching table lists swimming coaching six days a week, "to be selected in swimming season separately". Ask whether it is a monthly fee.

Exceptions worth knowing

  • Siri Fort. The Siri Fort page lists only two swimming rates: member ₹82.60 and guest ₹247.80, both for 45 minutes in summer. Its pool rules say "Entry is restricted to Members holding a valid swimming pass". DDA's 2023 FAQ says membership was closed at Siri Fort because the approved ceiling had been reached. The Siri Fort page, checked on 4 November 2026, still lists membership categories, including tenure membership (1 year: ₹18,900 non-government, ₹9,450 government) and a 3-month temporary membership (₹5,570 for a single member). It does not say whether new members are being accepted. Not confirmed; ask the complex.
  • Saket and Vasant Kunj. DDA's pool rules for Saket and Vasant Kunj restrict entry to members holding a valid swimming pass for their allotted shift.
  • Yamuna. The Yamuna page lists its swimming pool application as "only for members".
  • CWG Village. The CWG Village page is the only complex page we found with separate winter swimming rates: a daily dip at ₹165.20, monthly at ₹2,725.80, and a "Winter Seasonal (Feb, Mar & Oct, Nov- 4 Months)" pass at ₹9,286.60 for members. CWG Village also sells tenure membership (1 year ₹10,120, 3 years ₹24,300, 5 years ₹40,500) and a 3-month temporary membership at ₹5,570, rather than the ₹3,040 shown at Saket.
  • Mini sports complex pools, such as Pratap Nagar. A separate DDA sheet, also repeated on the Poorv Delhi Khel Parisar page, lists ₹170 a dip and ₹2,540 for a monthly pass. The sheet has no date (the PDF file is dated 19 September 2025), and it does not name individual pools.

When DDA pools are open

DDA's swimming pools page gives two seasons:

  • Normal pools: 1 April to 30 September
  • Heated (all-weather) pools: 1 February to 30 November

The same page labels only Siri Fort as all-weather. DDA's 2023 FAQ says three pools are all-weather: Siri Fort, Yamuna and Commonwealth Games Village. CWG Village's winter rates fit that. Yamuna's fee table lists only an April to September season. DDA's own sources disagree on Yamuna, so confirm with the complex before you plan winter swimming there. When we re-checked on 4 November 2026, the swimming pools page still marked only Siri Fort as all-weather. Roundhouse lists Siri Fort as heated. It also lists CWG Village as heated, because DDA's CWG Village brochure describes a covered main pool "with heating" and says the pool "is equipped with heating facility during winter". Heating at Yamuna is marked Not confirmed.

Even DDA's heated-pool season ends on 30 November. DDA's pages give no December or January swimming dates for any pool.

Complex opening hours are not pool hours. DDA's sports FAQ gives complex hours of 6:00 am to 9:00 pm from 1 March to 30 November, and 6:30 am to 8:30 pm in winter. Complexes are closed on Mondays, 2 October, Holi and Diwali. Dwarka Sector 17 closes on Wednesdays instead.

How to apply

DDA publishes forms on each complex's page: permanent membership, temporary membership and a separate swimming pool form. As far as we can see, there is no single online application for a swimming pass. The ddasports.com portal offers member and casual-member logins and says that "members as well as non-members can book a playing slot as per applicable rules". It does not say whether swimming passes can be bought there. Not confirmed.

The Dwarka Sector 17 swimming pool form (dated 11 March 2024) shows what a DDA pool application asks for:

  • your membership number, and a choice of one morning or evening slot
  • two passport-size photographs
  • a medical certificate signed by a registered MBBS doctor, stating that you have no chronic or contagious disease or disability that prevents you from swimming
  • a declaration that you swim at your own risk, and that you know or do not know how to swim
  • an acknowledgement that no refund is made for non-use of the pool, including during maintenance

Other complexes have their own forms, so download the one for your complex.

Eligibility. DDA's sports FAQ says anyone above 21 can become a member. A member's spouse and children aged 5 to 21 can be added as dependants. Membership can be transferred between complexes, except to Siri Fort. One complex's card does not let you use other complexes.

Paying. The 2023 FAQ says monthly subscriptions are paid by cheque or cash at the complex accounts office. The Dwarka Sector 17 form mentions UPI or card. The Major Dhyan Chand page notes that bank charges are added for card payments. Ask your complex which methods it accepts.

Dwarka Sector 17 works differently

Dwarka Sports Complex Sector 17 opened on 18 August 2023. It sells tenure memberships, paid in full upfront. The membership charges sheet lists, including GST:

Tenure membershipGeneralCentral/State Govt, local bodiesSenior citizen
1 year₹18,900₹9,449.99₹4,725
3 years₹47,250₹23,625₹11,812
5 years₹82,690₹41,346₹20,672

The sheet also lists temporary membership (3 months) at ₹5,570 for Indian citizens and casual membership at ₹100. We did not find a swimming-charges table for Dwarka Sector 17 on DDA's pages, so its swimming pass price is Not confirmed.

Before you pay: questions for the complex office

Office hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, per DDA's sports FAQ.

  1. Is the pool open now, and when does the next season start?
  2. Is temporary membership available now, and is there a waiting list for swimming?
  3. Which slots are open to members who are not in coaching batches?
  4. Does the coaching fee cover a month or a season?
  5. Which payment methods do you accept, and is there a card surcharge?
  6. What happens to my pass if the pool closes for maintenance? (The Dwarka Sector 17 form says no refund.)

Do I need a medical certificate?

The Dwarka Sector 17 swimming form requires one, signed by a registered MBBS doctor. Check your complex's own form.

Which DDA pool is 50 metres?

DDA's Sector 17 page describes its pool as 50 m. DDA's CWG Village brochure gives its main pool as 50 m x 25 m. For other complexes, check the pool length on each Roundhouse page, which shows where the figure comes from or marks it "Not confirmed". Our Delhi NCR swimming pools list compares lengths across the city.
