“Meet at Cubbon Park” leaves a lot of room for a first morning to go wrong. You can arrive at the right park, at the right time, and still be waiting at a different entrance from your group.

Start with the organiser's pin. Then check which kind of run you've chosen.

Cubbon Run advertises a free Sunday 5K at 8 AM. Skechers' Bengaluru page lists Tuesday and Saturday group sessions from 6–7:30 AM. Runner's High uses the park for sessions within its training programme. Those are different arrangements, not three names for a single open run.

Sources checked 2 November 2026. Times are IST and describe published schedules, not confirmed upcoming events. No booking, registration or personal attendance was made.

Which Cubbon Park group fits your morning?

The entries are alternatives, not a ranking. Don't turn up to a programme session expecting the same admission rule as a free community run.

Sunday: Cubbon Run's meeting point is specific

The Cubbon Run FAQ links its meeting pin and route. Its entrance instruction is more useful than a generic park search: look for the red arch near Dr. B. R. Ambedkar station on the High Court side.

The organiser welcomes walking and jogging as well as running. Advance registration is encouraged, and on-site registration is also offered. Check the current announcement before leaving, especially if you're travelling specifically for the group rather than planning an independent walk too.

You can open the Roundhouse Cubbon Run profile for the joining summary and official links.

Tuesday or Saturday: Skechers publishes a different start

Skechers' Bengaluru page lists the High Court Parking Lot, with 6–7:30 AM sessions on Tuesday and Saturday. Don't borrow Cubbon Run's Sunday time for this group.

Its national FAQ says sessions are free and that people without running experience can join. It describes a group programme rather than personalised coaching. Ask the local organiser how registration works and whether the next advertised session has any changes.

The published contact number is 18002008555, with contact hours shown as Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM. Those are support hours, not run times. If you need an answer, enquire ahead rather than relying on a call at the morning assembly.

See the Skechers Bengaluru profile for the current checked joining information.

Runner's High: choose the programme before the meeting point

Runner's High's training structure identifies two Wednesday groups inside Cubbon Park: High Court Parking Lot near Press Club, approached from Minsk Square, and State Central Library through the UB City gate. Members choose a Wednesday location for the season. Sunday lists a recovery run or no run plus strength training at the High Court location.

Its programmes page describes seasonal registration. A ₹200 Wednesday or Sunday in-person session charge applies to virtual-programme runners; that is not evidence that an unaffiliated visitor can buy a general ₹200 drop-in.

Contact the programme through its official site about enrolment, eligibility and the location assigned to you. We haven't established an unrestricted guest session or a current full-season price here.

Three details to settle before you leave

First, get the assembly pin, not just a map result for Cubbon Park. A useful pin leads to the actual gathering place. Keep the organiser's written landmark instruction with it in case the map app suggests a different entrance.

Second, ask whether the listed time means assembly, warm-up or running start. You want enough time to find the group and introduce yourself without guessing how far ahead to arrive.

Third, check joining permission. Some sessions invite anyone after registration; others belong to an enrolled programme. The presence of other runners in a public park doesn't make a coached session public.

Don't assume parking availability, a gate's current opening arrangements or a route diversion from these meeting descriptions. If any of those affects your journey, ask the organiser for the current arrival instructions. We haven't verified park access or transport operations for a particular morning.

If you're new, say so before the run starts

Tell the organiser whether you want to walk, jog or attempt the advertised distance. Ask where the group regathers and what to do if you turn back early. You're choosing a session, not committing to match the fastest runner there.

For a coached programme, discuss the appropriate starting group before enrolling. For a community run, check whether there is a suitable pace group or whether you will follow a marked route independently.

You can send:

I'm joining for the first time on [date]. Is that session going ahead, and can a newcomer attend? Please send the exact assembly pin, assembly/start times, registration steps and total charge. I expect to [walk/jog/run]—which group should I join?

If none of these mornings suits you, see free running groups elsewhere in Bengaluru, or filter the city directory by area. You don't have to travel to Cubbon Park to find company for a run.

Frequently asked questions

Which free Sunday 5K is advertised at Cubbon Park?

Cubbon Run's homepage advertises a free Sunday 5K at 8 AM. Check the organiser's current announcement before making the trip.

Are all the groups at the High Court Parking Lot?

The checked programme page assigns that rate to virtual-programme runners attending specified in-person sessions. It doesn't establish a public drop-in offer for everyone.

Can a beginner join a run at Cubbon Park?

Cubbon Run welcomes walkers and joggers, and Skechers' national FAQ welcomes people without running experience. Confirm the joining process and suitability of the particular session.
